Have I mentioned that author DeLeon DeMicoli’s novel White Belts is out and has been out?

I have read this book, and it is hilarious and awesome. Pick up a copy here, read a great book and support a friend.

Swing State REopened!

So it seems with the help of all the local supporters of Swing State that they managed to clean the place up, pass their inspection, and reopen the day of January’s SPC Tuesday! So come to Swing State tonight!

The venue Swing State at which I host the monthly Sonic Phonic Catatonic Tuesday had a fire and is closed for perhaps forever. Please read their blog to see if there is anything you can do to help them out.

Oct 11th Confirmed @ The Viaduct Theatre

We finally got a second date confirmed for the next Night Of Art & Intrigue, and some douches that will remain nameless (the mopery) denied our request for a third night.

But anyway, Sunday October 11th at the Viaduct Theatre will be the second night of our next NoA&I.

Waiting on one band to confirm. As soon as that happens I’ll be posting the line up.

Another Night Of Art & Intrigue Update

The next ATS Night of Art & Intrigue is happening this October.

So far the only official date is October 10th at Swing State.

My friend Chris from the band FluiD and I have been in contact with The Mopery and The Viaduct Theatre in regards to hosting the event there as well.

The dates on those would be Oct. 9th at the Mopery and Oct. 11th at the Viaduct Theatre. They are both semi-confirmed, but I’m still waiting on some emails to be exchanged.

Here’s what the Swing State show looks like though…

7pm- X+X

8pm- Suckling Pigs

9pm- Chit Chat

10pm- Static Rhythmic Static

11pm- EYES

and there will be live art by Heat from X+X and JT from EYES.

Sonic Phonic Catatonic

I was asked by Ian from Swing State if I would like to curate the second tuesday of each month at Swing State.

Of course I jumped right on this opportunity. 

So the second tuesday of each month starting this November at Swing State (as long as there isn’t a full moon) will be known as Sonic Phonic Catatonic Tuesday.
